The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 13) that due to maintenance or improvement works, the following leisure facilities will be temporarily closed:
All facilities at Tai Hing Sports Centre in Tuen Mun District (except for the Leisure Link's booking counter and self-service kiosk) will be temporarily closed for maintenance works of the electrical installations from 7am to 5pm on September 18. During the period, the public may use similar facilities at the nearby Leung Tin Sports Centre.
The soccer turf pitch at Pak Fuk Tin Shum Playground in North District will be temporarily closed for maintenance works from October 1 to 31. During the period, the public may use the soccer turf pitches at Fanling Recreation Ground, Kwu Tung Grass Soccer Pitch and North District Sports Ground in the same district.
The arena at Yau Oi Sports Centre in Tuen Mun District will be temporarily closed for improvement works from October 8 to December 20. During the period, the public may use the arena at the nearby Jockey Club Tuen Mun Butterfly Beach Sports Centre.
The children's playroom at Java Road Sports Centre in Eastern District will be temporarily closed for renovation works from October 9 to 18. During the period, the public may use the children's playroom at the nearby Island East Sports Centre.
