Police reclassified a homicide case in Tin Shui Wai on September 8 as murder and today (September 12) arrested two men in suspected connection with the case.
About 9.20pm on September 8, Police received a report that a 67-year-old man was found lying unconscious on the floor of his residence in Yiu Man House, Tin Yiu Estate. Sustaining multiple head, face and hand injuries, he was certified dead at scene.
A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was due to multiple head injuries.
Police today arrested the two men, aged 46 and 56, in suspected connection with the case in Yuen Long. They will be detained overnight pending further enquiries.
Active investigations by District Crime Squad of Yuen Long are underway.
