Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok today (September 9) in which a 55-year-old man died.
About 8.15am, a taxi driven by the 55-year-old man was travelling along Ngau Tau Kok Road flyover towards Choi Hung. When approaching near No.33 Ngau Tau Kok Road, it reportedly rammed into a road sign and fell onto a park from the flyover.
The driver was trapped inside the car compartment and was rescued by firemen. Sustaining serious head injuries, he was certified dead at scene.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
