CE lauds Hong Kong wheelchair fencing team on winning Paralympic bronze medal

     The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (September 9) congratulated the Hong Kong team for winning one more medal in the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

     Chan Wing-kin, Wong Tang-tat and Chung Ting-ching of the wheelchair fencing team won a bronze medal in the men's foil team event.

     "Hong Kong athletes performed well in competition, scoring a total of 12 medals. We are all delighted and proud of their dedication and Olympic spirit," Mr Leung said.

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, also extended his congratulations to the athletes for their fruitful achievements in the London Paralympic Games.

     The Hong Kong delegation has won three gold, three silver and six bronze in the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
