Government hopes to confirm as soon as possible concrete arrangements of meeting with Scholarism, Parents Concern Group on National Education, HKPTU, etc.

     A spokesman for the Government said the Government delivered a letter by the Chief Executive yesterday (September 7) at 5pm to the representatives of Scholarism, the Parents Concern Group on National Education and the Hong Kong Professional Teachers' Union. The letter invites the concerned parties to have a meeting, which should take place under no pre-set conditions, with the Chief Executive, Chairperson Ms Anna Wu and other Government officials.

     The Government is now proactively discussing with the representatives of the concerned parties the concrete arrangements of the meeting and hopes to firm up such arrangements as soon as possible.
