The Town Planning Board today (September 7) announced amendments to the draft Tuen Mun Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).
The amendments involved designation of a site on the Northern Landfall Reclamation Area of Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link (TM-CLKL) at the seafront of Tuen Mun Area 40 as "Other Specified Uses" ("OU") annotated "Container and Cargo Handling and Storage Area", and rezoning two sites embraced by the toll plaza of TM-CLKL in Tuen Mun Area 46 from "OU" annotated "Crematorium, Columbarium, Funeral Services Centre and Open Space", "Green Belt" and "Government, Institution or Community" to areas shown as "Road".
The draft Tuen Mun OZP No. S/TM/30, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long District Planning Office, the Tuen Mun District Office and the Tuen Mun Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board on or before November 7. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
