CSD officers help Police arrest suspect

Three Correctional Services Department (CSD) Officers and a police officer acted together to arrest a suspected person at Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre today (September 6).
At about 11.30am, a Chief Officer noticed the police officer chasing after another man inside the private road between the barrier gate of the Institution and CSD Staff Club.
Having confirmed the identity of the police officer and that the other man was a suspect of criminal offence, the Chief Officer and two Assistant Officer II immediately rendered assistance to subdue the suspect.
The suspect, aged 21, was handed over to the Police for further investigation.
