The Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, today (September 2) congratulated the Hong Kong delegation on capturing two more London 2012 Paralympic medals.
Table-tennis players Wong Ka-man and Yeung Chi-ka won gold and silver respectively in the women's singles – class 11 events.
Mr Leung said: "The athletes' outstanding performance have resulted from their years of hard work. I believe all the Hong Kong people will be very proud of their remarkable achievements."
The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, also extended congratulations to the Hong Kong delegation. He hoped that the athletes will continue to give their best and achieve more good results in the rest of the Games.
