The Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) announced today (August 30) that the Central Blood Donor Centre will be temporarily closed for renovation and improvement works from September 8 to October 7. The centre is expected to resume service in early October with the service hours unchanged. The BTS apologises for any inconvenience caused.
The public are invited to visit the blood donor centre in Causeway Bay or other blood donor centres including the Hong Kong Red Cross Headquarters at King's Park Rise and the Mongkok, Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, Shatin or Yuen Long blood donor centres to give blood during the affected period.
