Jumbo Kids Theatre to perform "That's What Friends Are For"

     Jumbo Kids Theatre, a local arts group active in half-mask puppet theatre, will stage its latest production, ˇ§Thatˇ¦s What Friends Are Forˇ¨, in October and November. The play looks at the relationship between parents, kids and their friends.

     Have you ever considered that the relationship between parents and their kids may also affect relationships with their friends? Ah Lam isnˇ¦t very good at building relationships with friends, and always finds himself being left out socially. When he makes up his mind to solve this problem, he finds out that his best friends are actually his parents.

     ˇ§Thatˇ¦s What Friends Are Forˇ¨ will be performed in Cantonese. Details of the shows are as follows:

     ˇ§Thatˇ¦s What Friends Are Forˇ¨ is one of the programmes in the ˇ§World Puppetry Seriesˇ¨ presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Tickets (free seating) are now available at URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by credit card telephone booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and their minders, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis). A maximum discount of 20 per cent is offered for the group booking packages.
