A spokesman for the Chief Executive's Office announced today (August 23) the appointment of Ms June Teng as the Information Coordinator with effect from today.
Information Coordinator is responsible for formulating media and public relations strategy for and coordinating the timetable of the introduction of major policies and programmes; liaising closely with the Director of Information Services and Bureau Press Officers to ensure effective implementation of media and public relations strategy for major policies; monitoring public and media feedback; and helping to plan and implement the programme of public functions involving media interactions for the Chief Executive.
The spokesman said, ˇ§Ms Teng has rich experience of working in the media, we are fully confident that she would be able to excel in the position.ˇ¨
