Special traffic arrangements for Yu Lan Festival Parade in Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan

     The Police will implement special traffic arrangements from 9.45am on August 23 (Thursday) to facilitate the holding of Yu Lan Festival Parade in Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan.

     The parade will start at Tai Wo Hau Estate Playground No.7 for Tin Hau Temple at Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, and then return to Tai Wo Hau Estate Playground No.7.

     Intermittent traffic control will be implemented on the following road sections during the parade:
- westbound Tai Wo Hau Road between Sheung Kok Street and Texaco Road;
- southbound Texaco Road between Tai Wo Hau Road and Sha Tsui Road;
- westbound Sha Tsui Road between Texaco Road and Tai Ho Road;
- northbound Tai Ho Road between Sha Tsui Road and Sai Lau Kok Road;
- eastbound Sai Lau Kok Road between Tai Ho Road and Wai Tsuen Road;
- northbound Wai Tsuen Road between Sai Lau Kok Road and Miu Kong Street;
- eastbound Miu Kong Street;
- southbound Shing Mun Road between Miu Kong Street and Castle Peak Road;
- westbound Castle Peak Road between Shing Mun Road and an unnamed road near Tsuen Wan Market Street Refuse Collection Point;
- Tsuen Wan Market Street between the unnamed road near Tsuen Wan Market Street Refuse Collection Point and Chung On Street;
- Chung On Street between Tsuen Wan Market Street and Sha Tsui Road;
- eastbound Tak Hoi Street;
- eastbound Tak Wah Street;
- northbound Kwan Mun Hau Street between Tak Wah Street and Sha Tsui Road;
- eastbound Sha Tsui Road between Kwan Mun Hau Street and Texaco Road;
- northbound Texaco Road between Sha Tsui Road and Tsuen Fu Street;
- eastbound Tai Wo Hau Road between Texaco Road and Tai Ha Street;
- Tai Ha Street; and
- eastbound Tai Wo Hau Road between Tai Ha Street and Sheung Kok Street.

     Motorists should drive with care and patience and follow the instruction of police at scene.
