New website for City Gallery launched

     To provide an electronic platform for information exchange with the general public, a new website for the City Gallery, the first permanent planning and infrastructure gallery in Hong Kong, has been launched today (August 14).

     The spokesman for the City Gallery said, "The website provides interactive information on this brand new gallery and its permanent and thematic exhibitions, and allows online registration and tour bookings. Information on the first thematic exhibit, 'Unique Hong Kong in Miniature', is now available."

     Members of the public may visit www.citygallery.gov.hk to access the website.
  
     Located at 3 Edinburgh Place, Central, the City Gallery will be officially opened on August 20. Occupying five storeys with a floor area of more than 3,200 square metres, the gallery will offer a host of interactive exhibits to showcase the uniqueness of Hong Kong's past and future, as well as share with the public the vision for city planning and infrastructure projects.
