The Police Recruitment Day organised by the Hong Kong Police Force at the Police Headquarters today (July 29) attracted more than 2 200 applicants.
The event provided one-stop service to applicants for the post of Probationary Inspector (PI), which included initial screening (height and weight measurement and eyesight test) and scheduling of written examination, and to applicants for the post of Recruit Police Constable (RPC) with initial screening and group interview.
There were also three sessions of experience sharing for applicants to acquire general information on selection process and to understand the challenges of police work.
The recruitment target for the financial year 2012-13 is 180 PIs and 890 RPCs. As at July 29, 46 PIs and 300 RPCs have been recruited.
