Latest public transport situation (as at 3.15pm)
************************************************

Public transport in Hong Kong has been resuming normal service as at 3.15pm today (July 24) after the typhoon.

Services of the MTR, Tramways, Peak Tram and New Lantao Bus Company have returned to normal.  Due to fallen trees and road closures, a total of 56 routes of KMB, New World First Bus and Citybus are suspended and about 15 routes have been diverted.  Other bus services of these three bus companies have resumed as normal.  Long Win and the Lok Ma Chau-Huanggang Shuttle Bus (Yellow Bus) are providing limited services.

All inner harbour ferry services have resumed as normal.  Other outlying islands ferry services, except the ferry routes Tuen Mun-Tung Chung-Sha Lo Wan-Tai O, Discovery Bay-Mui Wo and Peng Chau-Hei Ling Chau, have also returned to normal.

Members of the public should contact public transport operators for specific service details.  They are advised to be patient as some delays may occur although the situation is returning to normal.
