The Information Services Department (ISD) is taking part in this year's Hong Kong Book Fair (July 18 to 24) under the theme of "Text and the City".
A total of 137 government titles, CDs, VCDs, DVDs and posters will be on sale at the fair, with 49 sold at a 25 per cent discount, including the newly published yearbook "Hong Kong 2011".
A number of specially priced books and posters are also on sale this year, such as previous versions of the yearbook, a "Chinese Recipes" series and "Mapping Hong Kong: A Historical Atlas", with discounts ranging from 47 per cent to 75 per cent.
Customers buying publications at the ISD booth will receive a souvenir bookmark and may pay for items in cash or with an Octopus card.
Customers are also asked to bring along their own carry bag as plastic bags will not be handed out at the booth.
The ISD booth is located at stall A38 in Hall 1B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
