The Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam, will visit Guangzhou tomorrow (July 18) to attend the Inaugural Ceremony of the Second Term of Guangdong's Association for Promotion of Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong & Macao cum Fifth Pearl River Forum.
The theme of the Pearl River Forum is the facilitation of liberalisation of trade in services in Guangdong for Hong Kong in the National 12th Five-Year Plan period. Mrs Lam will speak at the forum.
Mrs Lam will also witness the signing ceremony for an agreement to strengthen overall strategic co-operation between the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the Guangdong Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong at night on the same day.
