The Police will implement special traffic arrangements from 11am to 7pm on July 8 (Sunday) to facilitate the holding of a celebration event and a vehicle parade.
Details of special traffic arrangements are as follows:
(1) a section of southbound Expo Drive East between Expo Drive and Expo Drive Central will be closed;
(2) a section of eastbound Expo Drive between the turning point on eastbound Expo Drive and Expo Drive East will be closed;
(3) the bus terminus at Expo Drive East will be suspended;
(4) the taxi stand at Expo Drive will be suspended; and
(5) all metered parking spaces at the section of southbound Expo Drive East between Expo Drive and Expo Drive Central will be suspended.
Any vehicles found illegally parked within the precinct of the special traffic arrangements specified above will be towed away without prior notice.
Actual implementation of traffic arrangements will be made at the time depending on conditions in the areas. Motorists should exercise tolerance and patience in case of traffic congestion and take heed of instructions of Police at scene.
