Special traffic arrangements for public procession on Hong Kong Island on July 1

     Police will implement intermittent road closure measure on July 1 (Sunday) along procession routes to facilitate public processions to be held on Hong Kong Island.

     A procession will meet at Southorn Playground at 3.30pm and depart for Central Plaza via Hennessy Road, northbound Luard Road, Gloucester Road southern pavement (eastward), footbridge near Luk Kwok Hotel, and Gloucester Road northern pavement (eastward).

     Another procession will meet at Central Government Offices at 7pm and depart for Connaught Road West via Citic Tower footbridge, westbound Queensway, westbound Queen¡¦s Road Central, westbound Queen¡¦s Road West, northbound Western Street and Connaught Road West southern pavement (westward).

     Police will intermittently close some traffic lanes along the procession routes when necessary.

     Motorists are also advised to drive with care and patience, and follow the directions of the Police.
