Police are anxious to locate the next of kin of a baby boy who was found abandoned in Tai Po today (June 24).
At about 9.20am, a man found a baby at the pavement near Tai Po Kau Tsuen on Tolo Highway. A report was then made to the Police.
The baby boy is about 9-month-old, standing about 0.69 meter tall, 7.3kg in weight and with yellow complexion. He was wearing white clothes and pants, and wrapped in a yellow blanket. No identity document was found at scene.
Police urged the relatives of the baby boy or anyone who has information to offer to contact the investigating officers at 3661 3754 or Tai Po Police Station at 3661 1674.
