CE-elect congratulates successful launch of Shenzhou-9 spacecraft

Shenzhou-9 manned spacecraft was successfully launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 6.37pm today (June 16).
The Chief Executive-elect, Mr C Y Leung, congratulated the country on the successful launch of Shenzhou-9 manned spacecraft.
"The launch is of symbolic significance as it is Shenzhou spacecraft's fourth manned space mission and for the first time a Chinese woman astronaut has participated in the flight mission," Mr Leung said.
