Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sau Mau Ping this (June 13) afternoon in which a 52-year-old man died.
At about 12.35 pm, a public light bus driven by a 58-year-old man was travelling along southbound Hong Ning Road. When approaching the road junction with Kung Lok Road, it reportedly knocked down a 52-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the 52-year-old man was rushed to United Christian Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.56 pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
