Seminar for SMEs on "Sustained Manpower Training and Development: The Key to Success for Enterprises"

     The Support and Consultation Centre for SMEs (SUCCESS) of the Trade and Industry Department will hold a seminar entitled "Sustained Manpower Training and Development: The Key to Success for Enterprises" on June 26 (Tuesday). The seminar will explore how enterprises can enhance their competitiveness through manpower training and development.

     Speakers will include the Manager (Alliance Development) of Employees Retraining Board (ERB), Mr Herman Kung; the Chief Executive Officer of Richform Holdings Limited, Dr Jimmy Lau; the Managing Director of Truth and Faith International Limited, Mr Choy Chi-fai; the Group Executive and Marketing Director of BannerSHOP Hong Kong Limited, Mr Chris Chan; and the Director of Organisation and Talent Development of Lee Kum Kee International Holdings Ltd, Ms Margaret Choi. Mr Kung will introduce the ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme (the Scheme). The Scheme, organised by ERB, aims to acknowledge enterprises with outstanding accomplishments in manpower training and development. The other guest speakers, whose companies have been accredited as "Manpower Developers" under the Scheme, will share their success stories on manpower training and development.

     The seminar will be held at 2.30pm in the Lecture Theatre, G/F, Hong Kong Central Library, 66 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay (MTR Tin Hau station, exit B). The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Admission is free.
