The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, continued his visit to Singapore today (May 25).
Together with the Minister of Culture, Dr Cai Wu, Mr Tsang met with the Chinese Ambassador to Singapore, Mr Wei Wei. They then joined representatives of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries to call on the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Hsien Loong.
Mr Tsang attended the Fifth ASEAN Plus Three (China, Japan, Korea) Meeting for Ministers Responsible for Culture and Arts, and the First ASEAN-China Ministers Responsible for Culture and Arts Meeting yesterday as a member of the Chinese delegation to discuss with his counterparts ways to enhance cultural exchanges within the region.
He also attended the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Arts Festival today.
He will return to Hong Kong tomorrow (May 26).
