Last additional show of ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
*********************************************************

Led by internationally acclaimed dance dynamo Thomas Edur, the Estonian National Ballet will make its debut in Hong Kong with the ballet "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" this July. To meet the overwhelming public demand, an additional performance will be held on July 8 at 7.30pm at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre. Tickets are available for sale from this Saturday (May 26) onwards.

Transforming a classic tale into a visual feast, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" will open the large-scale summer festival International Arts Carnival, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The show is also one of the programmes to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

This ballet spectacular combines captivating choreography and acting with magnificent costumes, music and sets. The show's meticulous design and abundant creativity also offer a charming new take on a classic tale. From tender-hearted Snow White to the seven wacky dwarfs, cast members showcase their dance skills, while dazzling fireworks and spellbinding video projections enhance the vibrant atmosphere. The show was also one of the favourites at the Estonian National Opera in 2011.

Limited tickets are still available for the other four performances to be held at 7.30pm on July 6 and 7, and at 3pm on July 7 and 8 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre. The additional performance of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" will be held at 7.30pm on July 8. Tickets priced at $150, $200, $260, $320 and $400 will be available at URBTIX from May 26.

Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and their minders, and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. Booking discounts of up to 20 per cent are available for full-price performing arts/film programmes.

Programme brochures are available at URBTIX outlets or at the carnival website www.hkiac.gov.hk.
