Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
Due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach and Turtle Cove Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Clear Water Bay First Beach, Clear Water Bay Second Beach and Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District; as well as Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach, Upper Cheung Sha Beach and Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
