Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Sau Mau Ping on May 8 in which a 78-year-old woman died.
At about 1.40pm on that day, a light goods vehicle driven by a 21-year-old man was travelling along eastbound Ming Chi Street. When turning right into Hong Ning Road, it reportedly knocked down the 78-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state where she was later certified dead at 4.17pm on May 11.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East, are underway.
