"Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2012" to be held this weekend

     An information expo showing the multiple pathways open to secondary school graduates will be held on May 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre.

     To help graduates of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education and the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination plan well for their further studies and career paths, the "Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2012" will feature course information from post-secondary and vocational education institutions and enquiry services.

     More than 30 exhibition booths will provide information on locally accredited post-secondary programmes, the new Yi Jin Diploma programme, vocational education and training programmes, as well as the iPASS (Information Portal for Accredited Post-secondary Programmes) and E-APP (Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes) websites. In addition, major guidance and advisory organisations will provide advisory services to students at the Expo this year. There will also be talks on topics such as multiple pathways for school graduates and career planning.

     The info expo will be held from 10am to 6pm on May 12 and 13 at Rotunda 2 of Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre, 1 Trademart Drive. It is organised by the Education Bureau, with the Federation for Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions, the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters and Hong Kong Education City as supporting organisations. Admission is free.
