The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:
The Legislative Council Public Accounts Committee will hold the first public hearing on "Unlawful occupation of government land" (Chapter No. 7) of the Director of Audit's Report No. 58 this Saturday (May 5) at 9am in Conference Room 3 of the Legislative Council Complex.
A total of nine government officials will be invited to appear before the Committee to respond to points raised in the Report and answer questions asked by members of the Committee.
