Further arrest in connection with murder and robbery case in Tin Shui Wai

     Police yesterday (April 26) arrested a 31-year-old South Asian man suspected to be in connection with the murder and robbery case in which a 38-year-old man died and a 19-year-old man injured at a godown in Tin Shui Wai on April 21.

     The 31-year-old man was arrested in Tai Po at about 8pm last night. A small quantity of suspected ¡§Ice¡¨ was seized on him. He was arrested for murder and possession of dangerous drugs and is still being detained for enquiries.

     Police have earlier arrested six men and one woman in suspected connection with the case. Two of the arrested men, aged 30 and 33, were jointly holding charged with one count of murder while the other arrestees, aged between 25 and 47, were released on bail and are required to report back to Police in early May.

     Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are under way.
