Proposed road works in Kwun Tong gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (April 27) on proposed road works at Fu Yan Street, Yan Shun Lane, Yan Oi Court and Tung Yan Street in Kwun Tong.

     The proposed works include permanent closure of the entire Yan Shun Lane and Yan Oi Court, a section of Fu Yan Street from a point about 20m north of its junction with Yue Man Square to Mut Wah Street, and the section of Tung Yan Street between Yan Oi Court and Hip Wo Street; and construction of a temporary carriageway to connect Tung Yan Street with Hip Wo Street, a temporary traffic island at Hip Wo Street, a temporary lay-by at Hip Wo Street for public light bus stand, and a footbridge across Hip Wo Street.

     A plan showing the proposed works together with a scheme description is available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:

     Any person who wishes to object to the works or the use, or both, should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 22/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong, on or before June 12, 2012.
