S for S speaks on Daya Bay Contingency Plan (DBCP) exercise
***********************************************************

Following is the transcript of remarks (English portion) by the Secretary for Security, Mr Ambrose S K Lee, at a media session on Daya Bay Contingency Plan (DBCP) exercise this afternoon (April 26):

Reporter: How serious is the Government towards the Contingency Plan, because based on our observation, the Government is not serious about what's happening in Tung Ping Chau.

Secretary for Security: I don't agree. We are very serious and that is why we have mobilised almost a thousand colleagues, including the Chief Executive, the Chief Secretary for Administration and other principal officials. This morning we held two meetings, one chaired by me and one chaired by the Chief Executive. And we will take this exercise very seriously, and we welcome observations and comments, both from our observers as well as the general public.
