Murder and robbery in Tin Shui Wai

     Police are investigating a murder and robbery case in Tin Shui Wai in the early morning today (April 21) in which a 38-year-old man died.

     At about 1.40am, Police received a report from a 19-year-old man, alleging that he and his 38-year-old cousin were collapsed after being assaulted by six to seven men at a godown on 1-33 Shek Po East Road in Tin Shui Wai. Informant later regained consciousness and found his cousin lying unconsciously on the ground with multiple injuries. Some valuables were robbed from them.

     Police attended the scene and located both victims. They were sent to Tuen Mun Hospital and the 38-year-old man was certified dead at 2.28am.   

    Those six to seven culprits were being wanted in connection with the case.

     A post-mortem examination will be conducted later on the deceased to ascertain his cause of death. Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Yuen Long are under way.
