Police yesterday (April 19) arrested a 28-year-old man suspected to be in connection with the murder of a 28-year-old woman in Kowloon City on April 4.
At about 9.59pm on that day, Police received report that a woman was found injured at a unit on Nga Tsin Wai Road. Police sped to the scene and located a 28-year-old woman. She was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 3.36pm on April 13.
After investigation, Police arrested a 28-year-old man for murder last night at Wang Tau Hom Estate in Wong Tai Sin. He will be detained overnight.
A post-mortem examination on the deceased revealed that she died of suffocation.
Investigations by Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West are underway.
