In response to the release of the findings and recommendations of the Audit Commission's report on the Public-Private Partnership Programmes of the Hospital Authority (HA) today (April 18), the HA spokesperson made the following statement:
The HA noted and welcomed the Audit Commission's report on the Public-Private Partnership Programmes.
The series of Public-Private Partnership Programmes piloted in the past few years in public hospitals were aimed at testing the different collaborative models for different healthcare services for providers and patients. While the HA has taken cautious steps in the planning and implementation of these projects, it welcomed the Audit Commission's observations and recommendations in providing useful insights and helping the HA map out the way forward for the service development of public-private partnership in healthcare.
