Police are investigating a traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin this morning (April 12) in which an 81-year-old man was killed.
At about 8.10am, a public light bus driven by a 59-year-old man was travelling along westbound Choi Hung Road. After making a left turn to Choi Yee Lane, it reportedly knocked down the 81-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.39am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are under way.
