Man arrested in connection with Kwai Chung murder

     Police today (April 11) arrested a 69-year-old man who was suspected to be in connection with a murder case in Kwai Chung yesterday.

     At about 1.20pm yesterday, Police received a report that a 68-year-old man collapsed after being assaulted by another man outside Block 5 of Kwai Shing West Estate. The 68-year-old man was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for medical treatment and was subsequently certified dead at 12.04am today.   

     After investigations, Police arrested a 69-year-old man at a unit at Kwai Shing West Estate this morning.    

     The arrested person will be detained overnight for further enquiries.  

     Active investigations by the District Crime Squad of Kwai Tsing are under way.
