Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin on April 5 in which a 85-year-old man was killed.
At about 7.35pm on that day, a bus driven by a 51-year-old man was travelling along southbound Fung Mo Street. When turning right into Fu Mei Street, it reportedly knocked down the 85-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The pedestrian sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 4.04am on the next day (April 6).
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
