The Lands Department announced today (April 3) that two residential sites, Rural Building Lot No. 1190 at 8-12 Deep Water Bay Drive, Shouson Hill, and Lot No. 673 in Demarcation District Peng Chau in Tung Wan, Peng Chau (Site A), had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System and will be disposed of by public tender.
A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicants' minimum guaranteed bids of $3,589 million for Rural Building Lot No. 1190 and $5.5 million for Lot No. 673 in Demarcation District Peng Chau. The tender invitation for both lots will commence on April 27, 2012, and close on May 25, 2012. The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any tender.
Rural Building Lot No. 1190 has a site area of about 10,249 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 13,831 square metres and 23,052.26 square metres respectively.
Lot No. 673 in Demarcation District Peng Chau has a site area of about 1,142.5 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 514 square metres and 856.8 square metres respectively.
The final Conditions of Sale for both lots will be available for distribution and uploaded to the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by April 27, when the particulars of the tenders will also be gazetted.
