The Government today (March 30) announced the re-appointment of Dr Patrick Fung Yuk-bun, Mr Peter Lam Kin-ngok and Ms Winnie Ng Wing-mui to the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).
Dr Fung and Mr Lam have been re-appointed for a term of one year from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2013. Ms Ng has been re-appointed for a term of two years from April 1, 2012, to March 31, 2014.
A spokesman for the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau said, "We are very grateful for Dr Fung, Mr Lam and Ms Ng's valuable contribution to the HKTB. With their expertise and experience, they will continue to help the HKTB in enhancing Hong Kong's position as a premier tourist destination."
Appointments to the HKTB are made by the Financial Secretary under section 9 of the Hong Kong Tourism Board Ordinance, under authority delegated by the Chief Executive.
