Cross-boundary coach services during Ching Ming Festival and Easter holidays
************************************************************

The Transport Department today (March 27) reminded passengers who intend to use cross-boundary coach services during the Ching Ming Festival and Easter holiday periods to plan their journeys in advance and to travel by rail via the Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Points as far as possible.

"Many passengers are expected to travel via the Lok Ma Chau (Huanggang) Control Point or Shenzhen Bay Port during the holiday periods. Passengers are advised to make their journeys during the less busy periods in the late morning or early afternoon," a department spokesman said.

"The waiting time for the cross-boundary coach services may be longer than usual if traffic at the control points is busy. Passengers should observe order and heed advice from the on-site Police and staff of cross-boundary coach companies," he said.

The spokesman advised passengers to keep track of the latest traffic news broadcasts by TV and radio stations.
