Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kwun Tong this morning (March 6) in which a 53-year-old man was killed.
At about 7.28am, a 40-year-old male driver parked a medium goods vehicle (MGV) at the junction of Tin Heung Street and Tsz Loi Lane. The MGV was reportedly skidded forward and hit the 53-year-old worker who was working behind a MGV stopped ahead.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.55am.
Investigations will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
The 40-year-old male driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
