The Education Bureau (EDB) will hold a parents' seminar on "Introduction to New Senior Secondary (NSS) Curriculum and Subject Choices under the New Academic Structure (NAS)" on March 16 for parents of students studying in Secondary Three to Five. Interested students are welcome to come along with their parents.
The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese and will include a Question and Answer session. Parents will be able to learn more about subject choices and multiple pathways for NSS students, with discussion topics covering the various NSS subject combinations, applied learning courses, the curriculum offered by the senior secondary schools under the NAS, tertiary education opportunities and career pathways for students under the NAS.
The seminar will be held from 7pm to 9pm on March 16 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, 18 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai. Registration to attend the seminar has begun and seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Details are available on the EDB website (www.edb.gov.hk/parentstalks).
