The Government intends to construct a concrete landing and access facility extending to 30 square metres within an area of about 793 square metres of foreshore and seabed at To Tau Tsui Beacon, Tolo Channel, Tai Po, to provide safe access for maintenance staff.
The works are scheduled to commence in July for completion by October this year.
The extent of the area affected is described in a notice published in the Government Gazette today (February 17).
The notice, together with its related plan, has been posted on notice boards near the site. The plan can be seen and purchased on order at the Survey and Mapping Office of the Lands Department, 23/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point. It can also be seen at Tai Po District Office and on the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) under Government Notices.
Any person who considers that he has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and seabed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20/F, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong, on or before April 17, 2012.
