Man charged with murder

Police today (February 8) charged a 54-year-old man with one count of murder.
Police arrested the 54-year-old man on February 6 in suspected connection with a suspected wounding case in which a 68-year-old man was assaulted at a podium in Tin Yan Shopping Centre, Tin Shui Wai. The victim was later certified dead at 9.46pm on February 7 after being conveyed to hospital.
The man will appear in Tuen Mun Magistrates' Courts tomorrow (February 9).
