Quartic Training, the UK-based Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam training provider, announced today (February 8) the opening of its first training course in Central.
The arrival of Quartic Training offers a choice to the financial services education industry in Hong Kong. According to the company, its focus on the CFA curriculum and "inspirational" teaching approach by native English-speaking tutors differentiate it from other providers in the market.

Quartic Training's launch in Hong Kong is a natural move given the city's international financial centre status and its increasing ties with Mainland China. Established in London in 2006, the company has seen demand for CFA qualifications boom, with pent-up demand from students in the Mainland.

Quartic Training has passed the requirements set out in the Non-local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance for a licence to offer CFA courses. It is offering a series of discounts for early applicants, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion, Mr Andrew Davis, welcomed Quartic Training's arrival, which he said will strengthen Hong Kong's base in terms of CFA development. "Hong Kong is an international financial centre. The demand for CFA courses has been great, providing opportunity for providers like Quartic Training to enter the market. There will be more choices for students as a result," he said.
