Actors' Family to stage "How to be a Star"
******************************************

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hong Kong City Hall, Actors' Family, which won four prizes at the 19th Hong Kong Drama Awards, will present its latest musical theatre production, "How to be a Star", in March to depict the joys and sorrows of stars' careers.

"How to be a Star" has a strong list of creative personnel and cast members striving to present a show that will delight its audience. The show's talent includes playwrights Candace Chong and Lilian Luk, director Victor Pang, composer, arranger and music director Anthony Lun, lyricist Chris Shum and superstar actresses Elisa Chan and Alice Lau.

The story begins with a fortune teller's predictions of an aspirant's future. Becoming a star seems like a glittering dream for the hopeful artist. Figures met along the way include an agent, a lover, a family member, a sponsor, an enemy, a bystander, a benefactor and more. Are they star makers, or star breakers?

There will be four shows and details are as follows:

March 16 and 17 (Friday and Saturday), 8pm
Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall

March 17 and 18 (Saturday and Sunday), 3pm
Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall
