The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (February 2) that due to the replacement works of its elevated walkway, the Edward Youde Aviary of Hong Kong Park in Central and Western District will be temporarily closed from February 6 to April 9. The Caged Display Area will remain open.
The arena at Fa Yuen Street Sports Centre in Yau Tsim Mong District will be temporarily closed for maintenance works from February 13 to 15. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open. During the period, the public may use the facilities of the arenas at the nearby Boundary Street Sports Centre or Tai Kok Tsui Sports Centre.
Meanwhile, due to refurbishment works, the arena at Chun Wah Road Sports Centre in Kwun Tong District will be temporarily closed from March 1 to 23, while the activity room and dance room will be temporarily closed from March 7 to 23. Other facilities in the sports centre will remain open during the periods. The public may use similar facilities at the nearby Ngau Tau Kok Road Sports Centre.
