Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a 90-year-old woman was killed in Hung Hom this afternoon (January 29).
At about 4.20pm, a bus driven by a 35-year-old man was travelling south along To Kwa Wan Road. When it reached Lok Shan Road, it reportedly knocked down the 90-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state. She was certified dead at 7.52pm.
Investigations will be taken over by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
