In view of the persistently high demand for blood types B positive and O positive, the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) wishes to appeal to people with these blood types to make a donation as soon as possible. In addition to the regular daily requirement of 800 donations, we need an extra 50 donors each of blood types B and O positive to be donated every day at present to ensure an adequate supply.
